The other day I met this lady on the train. She was engulfed what some may know as "french knitting" or looming. It turns out that she makes baby hats for families that cannot afford clothes or the necessities for their newborn babies.
"Somewhere in hundreds, I don't know," she answered when I asked how many she had made thus far.
"It's a great way to calm one's nerves, or anxiety, or to just stop thinking about yourself. It's nice knowing that I can make something for some one else."
