I was thrilled when I was asked to make a limited edition of designs for Of A Kind. If you are looking to "treat yourself" or some one else, I insist you check out the mini editions of goods by some insanely talented designers. I personally hand painted, sewed, and designed the lining for an edition of 50 "Cotton Candy" Clutches.
There is also a DIY textile painting project that I put together; you can print out the template or get creative and make up your own. Most of the supplies can probably be found around the house.
